Viking Assistance always offers its customers the best heavy towing service - both for rolling stock and technical assistance. Today's bus and truck structures place high demands on towing vehicles. Not only is knowledge constantly updated through courses and in-house training, but also newly developed specialised equipment is required, taking into account the evolution of vehicle technology. This ensures a cost-effective and safe towing operation.

In the event of major incidents, Viking contributes its expertise and guidance to ensure a safe but efficient operation at the site of the incident and to minimise further damage. Our employees are trained and drilled to deal with incidents of all sizes. The overall responsibility for working at the scene of an accident lies with the emergency services, but the residual value of the cargo and vehicles must also be taken care of to minimise costs to the motorists and insurance companies - this is where Viking's expertise is key.

Many of our Viking towing stations offer a locally produced road safety service with a dedicated TMA collision/road safety truck as well as other specialised traffic control equipment. The TMA trucks bring safety to work in traffic-challenging tasks, both large and small, on the road. TMA vehicles are fitted with a collision mitigation device to increase the safety of the work site, preventing other traffic from colliding with the work site itself. The shock absorber element also protects the motorist driving towards it, reducing the risk of injury or disability to those travelling in the colliding vehicle.
