Job applicants:

We process the personal data of job applicants to assess whether they are suitable for the job they are applying for. The processing of personal data is based on our legitimate interest as a job provider and in documenting the recruitment process. Providing information to us is voluntary. The information you choose to provide to us will be used to assess your application. We will keep the data for a maximum of 6 months after the end of the employment relationship.

We will never knowingly collect sensitive personal data such as information about your health, political opinions, sexual orientation or similar, and we ask that you also do not send us such information about yourself through our contact channels.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

We share anonymised data with our partners for purposes such as market analysis and service development. We also share data with Google Analytics and Google Ads for statistical and marketing purposes.

We only share personal data with an insurance company when the customer is insured with that company.

Viking Rescue will only transfer data outside the EU/EEA where you cannot be identified as an individual.

How long we keep personal data

We will retain information about you for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected or if we are required by law to retain it. The information will be deleted or made anonymous when it is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected. Below is an overview of how long we keep your data:

  • We keep audio logs of all calls for up to 6 months.
  • Email and contact form enquiries will be deleted after 12 months unless a customer relationship has been established.
